Back to reality...

Hello people,
the dreamer traveler is back! Back from wonderful Roma. And as the quote says "when in Rome, do as the romans do"! But I couldn't find out what exactly are the romans to do,so I'll write my impressions in this blog.
Rome or Roma (italian) is the eternal city, as the travel guides say, and this seems to be real to some point. The visitor can find ancient ruins and monuments from the roman empire and the hellenistic time everywhere throughout the city, not to mention the vast collection of artworks from the renaissance and the medieval era. The art lovers will certainly love this city! Of course, Christianity is the second thing to be seen in the whole city. There are inoumerous huge churches dedicated to the God, while they host paintings, sculptures and other monuments of the Christianity. I have to admit, that the most weird sculpture I have ever seen in a church was situated in a roman church a few minutes away from the Colosseum, it was depicting charos! The big attraction, although, is the Vatican city. It is the biggest museum of the world, next to the bigest church of the world, in front of one of the most famous plazas of the world! And all these run from the beginning to the end along with a rushing guide. Oh, i got exhausted, let's go for a walk. Now, it's time to visit piazza di spagna (nothing to do with plaza de espagna in madrid!!) or piazza venezia, or even the famous fontana di trevi, where the italians will wait for your coins to hit the bottom of the fountain, before they are collected!
Everybody should visit rome... But if you are not able to, you could visit athens instead!!! All these days in rome, i found the quote that both italians and greeks say about their relationship as nations; "una faza, una raza", tottaly correct! The saying means, the same looking, the same origin, and this seems to be actually real for both nations. Greeks and italians have similar manners, way of thinking, habits, appearance and so on... Two things, will make the difference for sure. Firstly, the italians will not become rude when a pedestrian will pass the road and they will let him to and even slow down in order to let him pass. Secondly and most important, watch out greek women, the too many beautiful women living in this country! All women in italy look great! Even if some wouldn't be so beautiful, they would certainly pay some attention to their appearance and their image in general!
That's all folks!
